May 2021

Since January we have been working with our primary sponsor on this bill, Rep. Wayne Sasser, to prioritize which bills we would introduce at different times prior to the filing deadline.  HB 862 "Improving Access to Patient Care" was filed by Rep. Wayne Sasser on May 4th.  This bill was introduced later in the session because it was not subject to the crossover deadline.  The bill has been referred to the House Health Committee.  We plan to begin moving this bill through the legislative process soon.
