House Bill 896 "Fair and Equitable Reimbursement/Pharmacists" was filed by Rep. Mitch Setzer.  The bill is not subject to the May 13th crossover date, and it will heard first in the House Insurance Committee.

Collection of information (bill language and supporting materials) from other states that have passed pay parity legislation.  Initial internal discussions about legislative strategy for a payment parity bill.

Crafting of North Carolina Pay Parity legislation.

Fall of 2020

Finalizing of language for the bill.  Consultation with legislators to discuss the legislation as part of the process of seeking sponsors.  We are currently engaged in finding sponsors for the legislation.
